Ps4 media player not downloading
Why can't I download 'MediaPlayer'? I'm using a sub-account, and when I go to 'all apps' in the PS store, I can't find the mediaplayer app. But when I insert a usb device with some music in it creating a folder named 'Music' at the root of the storage device and putting the files in that folder the ps4 detects it and the mediaplayer icon pops right up between the icons of 'what's new? I highlight it and press Download but it gives me the message-"This content cannot be downloaded at this time.
Why does it keep happening? Am I the only one with this problem? Thanks in advance for your help. Top Voted Answer. Sony disabled their own Media Player a while ago with an update. Hard to believe they could be so lame, but they want you paying to stream music, not playing your own for free. Nicodimus - 2 years ago 8 4.
Tmac - 11 months ago. I had the same problem. Perhaps you should try downloading it from a different region. Also the PlayStation Store has been down for a bit but you should be able to get Free things with no problems.
